DQ Flows provides a current and validated overview of bicycle and pedestrian flows in your municipality. Using an advanced traffic simulation model, DQ Flows provides maps and datasets with bicycle and pedestrian traffic volumes for all roads via an organization-wide tool. Distributions by destination, such as schools, shops, and restaurants, are included. A large GPS dataset can be optionally added for refinement and trend analysis. Results have been positively validated with bicycle and pedestrian count data.

As shown in a growing number of projects, DQ Flows proves a practical tool for municipalities for data-driven decision-making to accelerate roll out of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements. For example, DQ Flows has been applied in a CycleRAP project to improve bicycle safety on the Avinguda Diagonal in Barcelona.
