The municipality of Neder-Betuwe wanted to update and future-proof its mobility policy. The existing plans (since 2018) provided direction, but with the growth of the villages and the ambition in the areas of safety, health and sustainability, a new integrated vision was needed. Mobility should not only facilitate traffic and transport, but also contribute to livable, accessible and road-safe villages.

Our team of mobility advisors and data experts have developed and written a mobility plan. We also provided guidance for the process with participation (internal and external). The plan ensures coherence between mobility and other policy themes such as sustainability and health. In addition, we are creating a new road categorization plan and a network for pedestrians and cyclists.

The delivery of the plan will follow in the first half of 2026.
